On the 07th October 2023, the Saxon Wind Philharmonic and it's most recent CD "La Valse" will be awarded with an Opus Klassik 2023 as "Ensemble of the Year" at St. Elisabeth Church in Berlin.
The award Opus Klassik is considered as the most important classical music award in Europe.
The orchestra is extremely grateful and proud for this recognition of its achievement. After years of making music together, the excitement about the award is unmessured.
CD "LA Valse": The programme features outstanding works of French symphonic music, arranged in a harmonious way to suit an orchestra formation whose instrumentation and sound are special, even internationally.
