Classic meets Trebsen
The Saxon Wind Philharmonic Orchestra will again be visiting the Johannes Wiede cultural center in Trebsen on March 14th, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Contrary to what was originally announced, the orchestra will not only play contemporary music, but above all will play classical works under the direction of Leipzig University Music Director David Timm. This will include a work by the exceptional German composer on the occasion of Beethoven's 2020 year.
The Saxon Wind Philharmonic also plays works by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Johannes Brahms and Anton Bruckner as well as pieces that the conductor David Timm himself composed.
