"The leader / register leader" for musicians in wind orchestras, brass bands, minions and fanfares. The course aims to enable the participants to guide a voice group or a register.

Content

The course enables participants to guide a voice group or register. It imparts the C basic course qualification according to the nationwide system of training and further education of the BDMV.

Instrumental play: Lessons in the major subject Choral play in registers Chamber music

Ensemble management: basic exercises in conducting technique in simple time signatures | Methodology and Ensemble Management | Structure and implementation of voice and register tests

Music theory: advanced basic knowledge Main and secondary functions (cadence) | simple instrumentation | general history of music (introduction)

Requirement

Minimum age 16 years
Several years of experience as a wind or drummer in an ensemble
D3 degree or comparable qualification
Management of a voice group or a register

German Wind Academy, Bad Lausick / Bad Lausick Youth Hostel

Costs

€ 80.00 per participant and course phase for members of the SBMV
€ 130.00 per participant and course phase for non-members of the SBMV
€ 20.00 fee per exam plus costs for accommodation and meals

Particularities

Participants from the cooperating Saxon state associations should discuss the financing of the participation fee with their state association.
