The Serenade of the Saxon Wind Philharmonic

Historically, the Serenade is an evening serenade, evening music in a free form with an entertaining character, often under the open sky. Many composers composed serenades, especially for wind instruments.

Our Serenade Ensemble is based on the classic serenade octet and can be expanded to 16 musicians depending on the repertoire.

In addition to the well-known serenade music of the classical period, compositions especially for solo instruments enrich the concerts of this instrumentation.
